‘Love & Listings’ Star Details Rise to Success as a Black Woman In Luxury Real Estate


Taylor Schwartz was born in Palmdale, California. As a biracial woman, growing up without her mother around during childhood due to substance abuse, Schwartz had to overcome a lot of adversity while navigating her identity and her womanhood under a single-parent household.

Schwartz tells The Blast she was destined for bigger things and with dreams of being a star, she moved to Hollywood, California at the age of 18, where she got her real estate salesperson license just after graduating high school.

Schwartz was soon approached to be part of VH1’s hit real estate reality television show “Love & Listings,” where she quickly became a fan-favorite. Schwartz recognizes that the extremely competitive Los Angeles real estate market is led mostly by white males who have been in the industry for decades, and she was determined to shake things up.
